【English Translation】 Accomplishing Longevity When signs appear and you begin the practice, to obtain the siddhi of longevity: all the offering sponsors, attendants, and dharma friends hold the substances of accomplishment in their hands, chanting the mantra of approach and accomplishment in melody, accompanied by dance. Hūṃ Hrīḥ: The prayer: 'Hūṃ Hrīḥ, O glorious one, primordially self-arisen and spontaneously accomplished! Lord of Vajra Life in a palace of blazing majesty, Teacher Vajra King and retinue, And bodhisattvas, consorts, delightful attendants, With the samādhi of constant, inseparable companionship, Pray with fervent devotion and intense longing, Grant the siddhi of unchanging life, fortune, and lineage! Grant the siddhi of indestructible, stable, and constant retinue and disciples! Grant the siddhi of the vajra empowerment of life, free from the fear of birth and death!' After reciting thus, recite the mantra of approach and accomplishment: 'Kāya vāk citta siddhi phala hūṃ hoḥ,' then enjoy the substances of accomplishment, hold a feast of the gathering wheel, and speak auspicious words. Offerings, praises, confessions, dissolution, and rising, etc., should be done according to the usual procedures. During this time, if you visualize Red Mañjuśrī Life Lord, generating a consort before the self-manifested deity, after 'adorned with various ornaments of the deity,' add: 'The consort with the union of power and appearance, Sarasvatī Luguma, red and radiant with a smiling face, her right hand holding a life arrow and iron hook waving in the sky, her left hand holding a golden vase filled with life and fortune, adorned with various ornaments of fluttering jewels and silks, embracing the body of the deity with inseparable means and wisdom.' When praising, after the praise of the deity, add: 'Hūṃ Hrīḥ, you are the mother of the buddhas of the three times, Sarasvatī Luguma! Possessing the experience of attachment without attachment, red and radiant with blissful union! You are fearless and without fear, free from all increase and decrease! Praise to you, the mother who destroys the invincible army of terror!' Adding in this way is sufficient. The mantra of approach and accomplishment is: Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ Hrīḥ Mahā Guru Ārya Mañjuśrī Puṇye Yamāntakaḥ Mama Aparimita Āyurjñāna Puṇye Svāhā Rūpa Citta Dhevī Mama Aparimita Āyurjñāna Puṇye Siddhi Phala Puṣṭiṃ Kuru Oṃ. May there be auspiciousness!
