Combining all the virtues of myself and others, For as long as the realm of beings exists like an ocean, Following in the footsteps of you, the protector, I dedicate this for the purpose of guiding beings throughout space. The embodiment of all refuges, the great treasure of wisdom and compassion, The sole refuge in these degenerate times, precious one, Afflicted by the decline of the five degenerations, with intense pain, I beseech you, look upon this child with love. From the depths of your mind, draw forth the power of compassion, Bless the heart of this devoted one, Swiftly reveal signs and omens, Grant supreme and common accomplishments, I pray. Having done this, recite the Seven-Line Prayer as much as possible. Pray with devotion, visualizing that as the Guru manifests in union, five-colored rays of wisdom light emanate from his heart, extending like threads, and dissolve into one's own heart, blessing one's being. This was written on the eighth day of the waxing moon of the star Revati (Gro-zhin), called 'Subduing All,' from the ocean of the mind of Mipham Namgyal, who prays to be a servant of Guru Padmasambhava in all lifetimes.
