First, recite the Seven-Line Prayer, then recite the Lineage Supplication as usual. If reciting the extensive Mudra Abhisambodhi, then recite 'In the great mandala of the central direction, the uncreated perfection...' in its entirety. Afterwards, recite 'Hum. The outer courtyard of the mandala...' until the mantra recitation. The visualization during recitation is: the deities of the mandala appear, and with such a thought, begin the recitation. 'Hum. Secret mandala...' etc., recite each as much as possible. Also recite the Protectors, the General Gathering, and the Power Assembly slightly. Finally, recite the longevity practice, combining the Great Excellence longevity mantra with the longevity essence mantra.
