【English Translation】 Black Hayagriva (Tāmrin Nagpo) Near Practice Ritual ༄༅༅། །Namo! Vajra Krodhaya. If you wish to engage in the near practice and accomplishment of glorious Black Hayagriva, first receive well the empowerment and life-force entrustment of this deity, abide by the vows, arrange the support (deity image) and offerings according to the scriptures. First, take refuge: From this moment until enlightenment, I take refuge in the Lama, the Three Jewels, and the Yidam deity. In the mandala of Padma Wang (Lotus Power), please hold me with your compassion. Recite three times. Then, generate the mind of enlightenment: For the sake of establishing all sentient beings without exception in the state of Buddhahood, I enter and practice in the mandala of Hayagriva Wang (Power). Recite three times. Accumulate merit: To the Lamas, Yidam deities, and assemblies of deities residing in the ten directions and three times, to all the Victorious Ones together with their sons, and to the heroes and dakinis, I go for refuge. I prostrate with reverence in body, speech, and mind. I offer outer, inner, and secret offerings. I confess all collections of sins. I rejoice in the virtue of myself and others. I urge you to turn the wheel of Dharma. I beseech you not to pass into sorrow (nirvana). I dedicate the merit to great enlightenment. Recite three times. For the sake of the teachings and sentient beings, until I attain Buddhahood, I will encourage purity in body, speech, and mind, and engage in the meditation and recitation of glorious Black Hayagriva. Jah Hum Bam Hoh. May the field of merit dissolve into oneself. In an instant, may oneself become the form of glorious Black Hayagriva. The blessing and offering of the white obstacles should be done as usual. The boundary is cut off: Hum! I am the great supreme Heruka, the great deities are my retinue, for the purpose of subduing all arrogance, emanations of wrath are scattered in the ten directions. Ten great wrathful kings of wisdom, dark blue-black, one face, two arms, wrathful frown, teeth gnashing fiercely, upper body wearing a field skin, lower body wearing a tiger skin, adorned with charnel ground ornaments, the left hand holds an iron hook to attract, firmly grasping the hearts of enemies and obstacles, the right hand holds a vajra sword, reducing enemies and obstacles to dust. Emanations of wrath fill the sky, the sound of Hum resounds, the gesture of Phat sounds like thunder, reducing obstacles and enemies to dust, cutting off all impurities, severing the continuation of obstacles. 【English Translation】 The immeasurable saltiness radiates outwards, burning away all diseases, evil spirits, and defilements of the body, both inside and out. Light radiates outwards from every pore, transforming the external container world, mountains, rocks, plants, forests, and all things into fiery mountains and pyres. The internal sentient beings, humans and non-humans, all beings with form and without form, transform into the nature of wrath, and one should contemplate the self-sound of the mantra resounding 'Ururu'. Recite: Om Vajrakrodha Hayagriva Hum Phat (藏文：ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ཀྲོ་ཏ་ཧྱ་གྷྲྀ་ཝ་ཧཱུྃ་ཕཊ，梵文天城體：，梵文羅馬擬音：oṃ vajrakrodha hayagrīva hūṃ phaṭ，漢語字面意思：Om, Vajra, Wrathful, Horse-Headed, Hum, Phat), like a bee searching for its hive, recite rapidly. For this practice, there is no need for emptiness training such as Swabhava, no need to generate from the deity of the mandala, no need to dissolve the wisdom being, and no need for empowerment and sealing. Because the scripture says: 'The nature of mind is empty, clear, and unborn, inherently possessing the body of the deity. There is no difference between samaya and wisdom, no need for generation, dissolution, or sealing. Merely remembering it is complete. This is called the great view. Although not moving from the peaceful state of Dharmata (the nature of reality), with wrathful compassion subduing enemies and obstacles, I invite the supreme wrathful king of power, may the neighing of the powerful horse resound and descend. Vajra Sama Ya JAH JAH First, the offering: Hum! I invite the twelve Tenma (earth goddesses) who dwell in all directions, above and below, protecting the land of Tibet, along with their servants and retinue, to come forth! Do not forget the vows you made in the past before the master Padmasambhava! Please accept this torma adorned with samaya substances, accomplish the desires of the yogis, and reduce all enemies, demons, and obstacles to dust! May the Buddha's teachings flourish! Great twelve Tenma (earth goddesses), please partake of this great offering! Please partake of all the great ambrosia! Horse Dance: Hum! On the pile of corpses of enemies destroyed, the heroes dance, filling the ten directions of space, with retinues of wrathful deities and wrathful mothers, assemblies of Dakinis and retinues of messengers, dance! 【English Translation】 Confess all misdeeds of body, speech, and mind! (Tibetan: སྐུ་ལ་མཐོལ་ལོ་བཤགས༔) Recite the Vajrasattva mantra. Supplication: Wrathful King Hayagriva, please listen! Through the blessings of my offerings and praises to you, may I attain both supreme and common siddhis, and may all activities such as subjugating, suppressing, expelling, and oppressing be accomplished! Thus, pray. Attain siddhis merely by mantra recitation. Completion Stage: In the mandala of one's own awareness, the Wrathful King appears as a great expanse of clarity and emptiness, like a rainbow in the sky dissolving. Abide in the unborn Dharmadhatu. Seed syllable (Tibetan: ཨཱ་，Sanskrit Devanagari: आ，Sanskrit Romanization: ā，Literal meaning: Ah), Seed syllable (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ，Sanskrit Devanagari: आः，Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ，Literal meaning: Ah). Again, recite the mantra to arise as the deity.
