【English Translation】 Collected Teachings of Jamgon Mipham Rinpoche MP242: Nectar Rain for Offering to the Long-Life Dharma Protectors Nectar Rain for Offering to the Long-Life Dharma Protectors This is the ritual of Nectar Rain for offering to the long-life Dharma protectors. First, prepare the torma and libation, purify them with RAṂ YAṂ KHAM (Tibetan, None, None, purification), then bless them with OṂ ĀḤ HŪṂ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम् आः हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ āḥ hūṃ, body, speech, and mind) to transform them into an inexhaustible treasure of desirable things. Then recite: Hūṃ! In the past, before Kuntuzangpo Heruka, You who hold the vajra vows, Lords of gods, sages, and accomplished ones, Brahma, Indra, and protectors of the world, Nagas, yakshas, and vidyadharas, Guardians of places, regions, and fields, Immortal heroes and dakinis, Goddesses of nectar and medicine, Come here and accept these sacred substances and offerings. Help me accomplish the supreme long life! Especially you who have vowed to be the Dharma protectors Of this profound treasure teaching, The lay practitioner She'u Khari and Jowo Ludud Gon Gu Ma, Nyönkha Nakpo Tipatsa, The lay practitioner Dorje Lekpa, and others, Assembly of treasure protectors, come to this place. I offer you pleasing offerings, tormas, And a gathering of corresponding sacred substances. I confess all violations and mistakes. Please fulfill your solemn vows. May we, vidyadhara yogis, As we accomplish the supreme vajra long life, Be protected from all unfavorable circumstances and obstacles, And may you grant us all favorable conditions and accomplishments.
